Fenerbahçe's new president, Sadettin Saran, recently held a meeting with one of the club's unforgettable figures, coach Volkan Demirel. Demirel shared the details of the meeting on the NOW Spor YouTube channel.

"I have had conversations with President Sadettin both before and after the election process. The president has a plan in mind regarding me. I spoke with him both before and after the election. Speaking about Fenerbahçe's head coach Domenico Tedesco, Demirel said that the coach should be supported:

"I am of the opinion that we should continue with the coach. The management has changed, the president has changed. The players want to see what will happen. There is no need for Fenerbahçe to be a team that changes coaches every minute. Everyone started thinking this way after the Zagreb match, but continuing with the coach seems to be the most correct decision. At the very least, he should be kept on until the international break."
