WHO IS MERVE ÖZTOPALOĞLU?
Merve Öztopaloğlu was born in Istanbul in 1982. Having completed her high school education at FMV Işık High School, Öztopaloğlu subsequently graduated from the Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law. Elected as a Beşiktaş Municipal Council Member in the local elections held in March 2014, Öztopaloğlu later assumed the role of Deputy Mayor of Beşiktaş. As of 2022, she served as the Field Services Group Coordinator at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality with the aim of improving citizen-focused services. Since July 2023, she has been serving as the General Manager of Boğaziçi Yönetim AŞ. She is married and a mother of one daughter.
