Will Cengiz Ünder and En-Nesyri be swapped at Fenerbahçe?
It has been reported that Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı has traveled to Spain to finalize the transfer of Youssef En-Nesyri and that Cengiz Ünder is being discussed as a potential swap option in the deal.
Having closed last night with 3 transfers, Fenerbahçe has now pressed the button for the center-forward position.
According to a report by Sabah Gazetesi, President Ali Koç has given full authority to Vice President Acun Ilıcalı. Ilıcalı has also taken action to hold final talks for En-Nesyri.
Regarding the 27-year-old Moroccan center-forward, his club Sevilla stated the other day, "There has been a lot of interest from European teams, but we have not yet received an offer that satisfies us."
The player, who is also being pursued by Roma from Italy and Al-Qadsiah from Saudi Arabia in addition to Fenerbahçe, has a current market value of 20 million Euros.
En-Nesyri, who played 41 matches last season for Sevilla, with whom he has one more year remaining on his contract, recorded a performance of 20 goals and 3 assists.
It is expected that Acun Ilıcalı will put a cash-plus-player offer on the table to reach a happy ending in the transfer. Cengiz Ünder is among the names being considered for this.
