Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç and the board of directors have decided to hold a critical meeting starting at 16:00 following the Hatayspor match. The main agenda items for the meeting will be the refereeing errors experienced in the Super Lig and the decision on whether or not to participate in the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

According to NTV's report, the yellow-navy management will discuss different scenarios regarding participation in the Turkish Cup. The options on the table include not participating in the tournament at all, fielding the youth team, or competing with rotation players.

Although President Ali Koç's stance against participating in the cup is clear, some members of the board are expected to express different views regarding participation.

It is also being discussed that Fenerbahçe will call on the Turkish Football Federation to implement the use of foreign referees. The management will evaluate the refereeing errors in the Hatayspor match and throughout the league in detail.

President Ali Koç, in a statement he made recently, expressed his criticisms regarding the Turkish refereeing system, stating, "It was a weekend where Turkish refereeing went bankrupt. The fact that Galatasaray has not received a red card at home for 2.5 years resembles a comedy movie script."
