Women's Champions League match postponed due to armed attack in Prague
The group stage match between Slavia Prague and St. Pölten in the UEFA Women's Champions League has been postponed due to an armed attack that took place today in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
In a statement released by UEFA, it was announced that the Champions League Group B match, in which Czech side Slavia Prague was set to host Austrian representatives St. Pölten at 23:00 TSI today, has been postponed following consultation with the clubs.
The statement, which extended condolences to the people of the Czech Republic, noted that the match will be played at a later date.
It had been reported that at least 15 people were killed and many others injured as a result of an attack by an armed individual at Charles University in the center of Prague.
