Wout Weghorst's words on Beşiktaş: They will always be in my heart

In their first match at EURO 2024, the Netherlands came from behind to beat Poland.

The goals that brought victory to the Netherlands against Poland were scored by Cody Gakpo and Wout Weghorst.

Responding to a question about his time playing for Beşiktaş, Weghorst said, "They were perfect times for me. When I look back at my days in Turkey and at Beşiktaş, the fans, in particular, were very passionate. They were truly special days for me. I had a great time there. They will always be in my heart."

Regarding the question, "Will we be able to see you at Beşiktaş again?" the Dutch striker said, "You never know."
