Yasin Özcan in Istanbul for Beşiktaş
National football player Yasin Özcan, who plays for Aston Villa, has arrived in Istanbul for Beşiktaş. The young player said, "I am excited to work with Coach Sergen. Hopefully, we will bring Beşiktaş to the places it deserves."
As Beşiktaş continues its squad restructuring during the mid-season transfer window, the club has brought Yasin Özcan, with whom they have reached an agreement, to Istanbul. The 19-year-old defender was greeted with interest at Istanbul Airport. Making statements regarding his transfer, Özcan expressed his happiness at joining the Beşiktaş family and said the following:
"I will do my best for this team. I went to Europe, learned, and gained experience. Now I am returning. I will apply what I have learned here. I will give my 100 percent on the pitch in the best way possible. One of my biggest goals is the national team. I am excited to work with Coach Sergen. Hopefully, we will bring Beşiktaş to the places it deserves."
While at the airport, he did not turn down photo requests from the black-and-white fans before boarding the vehicle waiting for him and leaving the area. The young player is expected to sign the contract that will tie him to the black-and-white colors after undergoing medical examinations.
