Yusuf Demir issues an ultimatum to Galatasaray!
Yusuf Demir, whom Galatasaray loaned to Basel at the beginning of the season, has sent a formal notice to the yellow-red club regarding unpaid wages.
It has been alleged that Yusuf Demir, the Turkish-Austrian footballer whom Süper Lig side Galatasaray loaned to Basel at the beginning of the season, has sent a formal notice to the yellow-red club due to outstanding payments.
Yusuf Demir, who was transferred to Galatasaray from Rapid Wien for 6 million euros but was loaned to the Swiss team Basel at the start of the season after performing below expectations, was receiving a large portion of his annual salary from the yellow-red team.
According to a report by Milliyet, the 20-year-old player sent a formal notice to become a free agent on the grounds that Galatasaray had not made the payments.
The deadline set by the young footballer expired yesterday evening (Tuesday, January 2). The yellow-reds, however, stated, "His salary is being paid in installments."
