Nicolo Zaniolo, whom Galatasaray sent on loan to Aston Villa at the beginning of the season, has announced the team he wants to join next season. In an interview featured in today's issue of Corriere dello Sport, the Italian star stated that he wants to return to Serie A and that his former club, Roma, is in his heart.
In the report published under the headline "Give me back Serie A," the 24-year-old player is quoted as saying, "I have grown and matured. I would recommend myself to many clubs, but I would never go to Lazio."
