Dates and prices announced for the Tourist Eastern Express

Preparations for the new season of the Tourist Eastern Express have been completed through a joint effort by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The train will begin its first journey from Ankara on Monday and return from Kars on Wednesday.

The train's departure days have been set as follows: departures from Ankara will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; departures from Kars will be on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Two train services will be organized per week.

The Tourist Eastern Express has a total passenger capacity of 160, with 8 sleeping cars each containing 10 compartments, and one dining car. While tickets can be purchased individually through TCDD Taşımacılık sales channels, tour packages are offered through authorized agencies.

HOW MUCH ARE THE EASTERN EXPRESS TICKETS?

Ticket prices vary depending on the date and route. Until January 14, the price for two people on the Ankara–Kars line is set at 14 thousand TL, and 12 thousand TL on the Kars–Ankara line. From January 16 onwards, services departing from Ankara will be 17 thousand TL, and services departing from Kars will be 15 thousand TL.

Ticket sales for the Tourist Eastern Express continue through TCDD Taşımacılık and authorized agencies.
