Posters for TRT's new series 'Gassal' spark major backlash

The posters, which lacked any institutional branding, signature, or explanation, became a trending topic on social media.

It has emerged that the posters were part of an advertising campaign for the series 'Gassal', which is preparing to be released online.

'OUR MENTAL HEALTH HAS BEEN AFFECTED'

Some social media users who encountered the posters expressed their reactions by saying, "They could have at least written an explanation; we look up and see this sentence... Our mental health has been affected."

While users debated whether the posters were part of an awareness campaign or the start of an advertisement, many speculations were made on social media.

It turned out that the "Who will wash me when I die?" poster was part of an advertising campaign for the series 'Gassal', which is preparing to be released online.

The series, which will star Ahmet Kural, Sibel Aytan, Muharrem Türkseven, Ezgi Özyürekoğlu, and Serkan Ercan, focuses on the adventures of a mortician who undergoes a major transformation after a near-death experience and begins searching for someone to wash him when he dies.
