'Zaferin Rengi' was watched by 129 thousand 49 people between February 16 and 22.
Its total box office revenue reached 19 million 255 thousand TL.
PLOT OF ZAFERİN RENGİ
Based on true events that took place between 1918 and 1923, 'Zaferin Rengi' tells the story of the national struggle initiated in Anatolia under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, its growth in occupied Istanbul, and the resistance of the Turkish people who found unity and morale through football victories.
The film concludes with the Harington Cup, one of the most significant football achievements that left its mark on Turkish sports history.
Kubilay Aka portrays the film's main protagonist, Galip Bey, a founding member and legendary captain of Fenerbahçe, while we see Gülper Özdemir in the role of Peyker.
Nejat İşler (Sabri Toprak), Timuçin Esen (Topkapılı Cambaz), Yiğit Özşener (Mustafa Kemal Pasha), Gonca Vuslateri (Vera), Yılmaz Bayraktar (Captain Bennett), and Birce Akalay (Halide Edib Adıvar) also bring to life the symbolic politicians, intellectuals, military figures, and heroic athletes of Turkish football history from that era.
