Special exhibition for Özdemir Asaf's 100th birthday: 'Loneliness Cannot Be Shared'
The 100th birthday of master poet Özdemir Asaf is being celebrated with a group exhibition titled 'Loneliness Cannot Be Shared'. The exhibition will be open to visitors at the Maçka Art Gallery until March 30.
The exhibition, organized specifically for the 100th birthday of Republican-era Turkish poet Özdemir Asaf, brings together works by artists producing in various disciplines such as photography, ceramics, painting, sculpture, textiles, glass, and video.
Focusing on the increasingly isolated individual and the feeling of loneliness that we either flee from or need, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the 'States of Loneliness'.
Within the scope of the exhibition, which features all of Özdemir Asaf's works published by Yapı Kredi Publications, events will also be held in collaboration with Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts.

The artists featured in the exhibition are as follows: Ani Çelik Arevyan, Ayşen Urfalıoğlu, Barış Murathanoğlu, Bashir Borlakov, Bilge Alkor, Defne - Hamit Demirel, Esra Carus, Etem Şahin, Fatih Kızılcan, Gönül Nuhoğlu, Güçlü Polat, Güneş Çınar, Halit Demirel, Ömür Tokgöz, Rabia Seyhan, Serhat Kiraz, Seyhun Topuz, Tunç Ali Çam, and Yıldız Moran.
