Bananas have been identified as the most produced fruit worldwide. With an annual production of 148 million tons, bananas have surpassed other popular fruits.

Watermelon follows bananas in second place with an annual production of 110 million tons. China maintains its leadership in this field by meeting 60% of global watermelon production. Turkey, India, and Brazil are also among the prominent countries in watermelon production.
Apples rank third with a production of 105.3 million tons. While China accounts for 53% of global apple production, the USA, Turkey, and India are also among the significant producers.
Other prominent fruits include oranges, coconuts, mangoes, and pineapples. Brazil leads in orange production, while Indonesia leads in coconut production. India stands out in mango production, and Indonesia again leads in pineapple production.
These fruits are of great importance to many countries not only for their nutritional value but also for their economic contributions. Increasing demand leads the global food industry to produce these fruits in massive quantities.
