In the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya, a 15-year-old boy caused his sister's death after accidentally shooting her while playing with a gun.
According to the information obtained, Y.Y. (23), who works in Bursa, came home on Tuesday evening to visit his family. It is alleged that when Y.Y. arrived home, he left his gun on the table. At that moment, his younger brother O.Y. (15) picked up the handgun from the table and unintentionally fired at his sister, Nisanur Yakın (19), who was in the kitchen.
Family members who rushed to the house upon hearing the gunshot found Nisanur Yakın covered in blood. The young woman lost her life at the scene. Following the prosecutor's investigation, her body was taken to the morgue of Tavşanlı Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
