40 hours have passed in rescue efforts: Worker trapped under collapsed building in Güngören still not found
Rescue efforts for the worker trapped under the rubble following the collapse of a building undergoing demolition as part of urban transformation in Güngören have been ongoing for 40 hours.
On Friday, November 29, a collapse occurred in the upper section of a building undergoing demolition as part of urban transformation in Güngören, Istanbul. Numerous fire, AFAD, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Two people were trapped under the rubble in the collapse, and one person was rescued following the efforts of the fire department teams.
Search efforts for the other worker trapped under the rubble are continuing into the second day.

The front part of the building was demolished with heavy machinery to reach the worker. AFAD and municipal teams continued their work in the debris. Rescue efforts for the worker under the rubble have been ongoing for approximately 40 hours.
The efforts are expected to continue throughout the day.
