7 people had lost their lives: Identities of those who died in the tragic accident in Gaziantep have been announced

The identities of the 7 people who lost their lives in the accident that occurred when a passenger bus and a car collided head-on in Gaziantep have been determined. While 7 people, including 2 children, who were in the car lost their lives in the accident, 16 people on the bus were injured.

The accident occurred yesterday at around 18:06 in the rural Acaroba neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district on the Gaziantep-Nurdağı highway. According to allegations, the passenger bus with license plate 34 HBS 100, which was traveling on the Hatay-Gaziantep route, collided with the car with license plate 31 AHB 98, which was traveling from Gaziantep towards Nurdağı.

It was reported that the security camera footage captured the moment the car lost control, crossed into the bus's lane, and collided head-on. Following the work of the teams dispatched to the scene, the bodies were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute.

It was determined that those who lost their lives in the accident were Gülistan Özdemir (46), Nisanur Özdemir (23), Zeynep Alin Özdemir (6), Senem Gökşen (44), Atakan Gökşen (1), Fatma Balık (73), and Gülhan Yaman (47).

After the procedures were completed at the scene and at the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute during the night, the bodies were sent to Hatay for burial. It was learned that a comprehensive investigation into the accident is ongoing.
