A new decision has been made regarding the social media accounts of artist and Ahbap Association founder Haluk Levent, who was arrested as part of an investigation into the association.

It was reported that despite the decision, the account has not yet been made invisible from Turkey.

An access ban had previously been issued for Levent's X account, which has approximately 9 million followers, under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. Following the decision taken on July 20, the X platform made the account invisible from Turkey on July 22.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced in a statement on July 12 that an investigation had been launched into allegations that donations collected on behalf of the Ahbap Association were transferred in large amounts to the accounts of certain suspects. Haluk Levent and some association executives were arrested as part of the investigation.
