AKP district chair loses life in tragic accident
AKP Gerede District Chair Mehmet Çongar has lost his life in a traffic accident.
On the D-100 highway during the night, the car with license plate 14 KJ 700, driven by AKP Gerede District Chair Mehmet Çongar, who was traveling from Gerede toward Bolu, struck the rear of a semi-truck with license plate 51 ABC 707, driven by G.K., near the Köroğlu Station Command.
Upon notification, health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
After initial intervention by medical teams, Çongar was transported to the Bolu İzzet Baysal State Hospital Köroğlu Unit, but could not be saved despite all interventions.
