AKP District Chair shoots neighbor
In Bartın, AKP Ulus District Chair Muhammet Kızılayoğlu shot his neighbor, identified as I.Ö., following an argument. I.Ö., who was critically wounded by the bullets, was taken to the hospital, while Kızılayoğlu was arrested and sent to prison.
In an incident that occurred the night before last in the Ulus district of Bartın, an argument broke out for an as-yet-unknown reason between AKP Ulus District Chair Muhammet Kızılayoğlu and his neighbor, I.Ö. As the argument escalated quickly, Kızılayoğlu responded to I.Ö.—who was allegedly holding a baseball bat—by drawing his weapon and firing at his neighbor.
BULLETS STRUCK HIS BODY
The bullets fired from Kızılayoğlu's weapon struck I.Ö.'s body. Medical teams were called to the scene for I.Ö., who collapsed to the ground wounded. I.Ö. received initial treatment from 112 Emergency Service teams and was transported to Bartın State Hospital. It was reported that his condition is critical.
KIZILAYOĞLU ARRESTED
Muhammet Kızılayoğlu, who was taken into custody following the incident, was referred to the courthouse after giving his statement. The court ordered Kızılayoğlu's arrest and he was sent to prison.
DID HE LOSE HIS LIFE?
Some users on social media claimed that I.Ö. had lost his life. However, these claims have not yet been confirmed by official authorities.
