Armed clash between two groups in İzmir: 3 dead, 1 injured
In the Çeşme district of İzmir, 3 people were killed and 1 person was injured in an armed clash between two groups.
A fight broke out between two groups in the Fahrettinpaşa neighborhood of Çeşme, İzmir, due to a dispute over a girl.
One of the parties, B.B., opened fire on 4 people with a handgun and fled the scene.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The teams determined that Azad Demir, Abdurrahim Doğan, and Mehmet Sait Medeni, who were shot with the handgun, had lost their lives.
The injured individual, A.M., was transferred to Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.
The bodies of the 3 deceased were taken to the morgue of Çeşme Alper Çizgenakat State Hospital.
While teams have launched an operation to apprehend the suspect B.B., they have detained 2 of his friends who were determined to have been with him during the incident.
