Attention Istanbul residents: These roads are closed to traffic today

Due to the event organized by Spor İstanbul, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), certain roads in the Fatih and Beyoğlu districts have been closed to traffic today (April 27) between 04:30 and 13:30. The Balat route will begin to be opened to traffic gradually starting from 11:05.

Public transportation has also been adjusted due to the half marathon, for which a total of 18 thousand people have registered in the 21K and 10K categories.

On the T1 Kabataş-Bağcılar Tram Line, services will operate between the Sirkeci and Bağcılar stations from 07:00 to 13:30.

Passengers using IETT buses will be able to follow real-time changes via the "Where is My Bus?" (Otobüsüm Nerede?) application.

The routes that will be closed to traffic due to the marathon are listed as follows:
