Attention Istanbul residents: These roads will be closed tomorrow

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that due to the Istanbul Marathon, certain roads across the city will be closed to traffic on Sunday, November 2, 2025, until the program is completed. The statement noted that the routes to be closed have been scheduled hour by hour, and alternative transportation directions have been prepared for drivers.

Due to the marathon, traffic arrangements will be in effect at many points in Istanbul starting from the early hours of tomorrow morning. According to the Governor's Office schedule, some roads will be closed to traffic starting at 03:00, while others will be closed starting at 06:00.

The statement emphasized that drivers should carefully review the details of the closed roads and the alternative routes provided to avoid any inconvenience.

• Sait Çiftçi variant overpass D-100 south entry
• Barbaros Boulevard Sait Çiftçi D-100 south entry
• Kısıklı Street Altunizade Bridge D-100 north entry
• Mahiriz Street Altunizade Bridge D-100 north entry
• 15 July Martyrs Bridge north direction from Beylerbeyi Abdullahağa Street
• Tophanelioğlu Street D-100 north entry tunnel entrance
• West Ataşehir Kızıl Begonya Street – North Ring Road connection

ALTERNATIVE DIRECTIONS:

Traffic diversions will be used for the Büyükdere – Balmumcu – Levent – Sarıyer direction, the Çamlıca connection road, the Ünalan – Ataşehir – Çamlıca direction, and the Beşiktaş, Esentepe, and Sarıyer directions.

ALTERNATIVE ROADS

Atatürk Boulevard, Balat Coastal Road, Unkapanı Bridge, Fevzipaşa Street, Vatan Street, Millet Street, new and old airport streets, Ekrem Kurt Boulevard, and the D-100 Highway.
