The Izmir Suburban System (İZBAN) has announced that all train services have been canceled due to a one-day work stoppage carried out by public employees across the country.
In a written statement, it was noted that personnel working within the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) are also participating in the action.
It was stated that all services have been halted because dispatchers, who ensure the safe operation of train traffic, did not report to work.
Authorities emphasized that passengers should plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
