Bus driver who drove on the sidewalk in Istanbul fined 2,070 TL
Following footage shared on social media on September 27 titled "Bus Driving on the Sidewalk, Unbelievable," teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch took action. The driver, identified as Ö.B., was apprehended and fined in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law.
In Istanbul, a driver determined to have been driving a bus on the sidewalk was issued a fine of 2,070 Turkish Lira.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch launched an investigation following footage shared on social media on September 27 under the title "Bus Driving on the Sidewalk, Unbelievable."
Following the investigation, the bus driver, identified as Ö.B., was apprehended.
The driver was issued an administrative fine of 2,070 Turkish Lira in accordance with the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Law, and judicial proceedings were initiated against him.
