Businessman targeted in armed attack in Alaçatı
Businessman Fatih Fil was targeted in an armed attack by an unidentified individual while sitting at a business in the Alaçatı neighborhood of Çeşme. It was reported that Fil, who was wounded in the leg, is not in life-threatening condition. Police have launched a widespread operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
In an armed attack that occurred in the Çeşme district of İzmir, businessman Fatih Fil was shot in the leg.
The incident took place at a business located in the Alaçatı neighborhood. According to information obtained, Fil was targeted with a handgun by an unidentified individual while sitting at the establishment and was wounded by a bullet that struck his leg.
Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Fil, who received initial treatment at the scene, was transported by ambulance to the Çeşme Alper Çizgenakat State Hospital. It was learned that the businessman, who is currently under treatment, is not in life-threatening condition.
Police teams have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect who fled the scene following the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
