CHP to hold presidential primary tomorrow with 5,600 ballot boxes across 81 provinces
The CHP will set up a total of 5,600 ballot boxes across 81 provinces and 973 districts for tomorrow's presidential primary, in which detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will be the sole candidate.
The CHP will hold its presidential primary tomorrow, with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu participating as the sole candidate. A total of 5,600 ballot boxes will be set up across 81 provinces and 973 districts. Members will begin voting at 08:00 in the morning and conclude the process at 17:00. Citizens who are not members will be able to vote in a separate ballot box called the "Solidarity Box." Voting locations can be accessed at onsecim.chp.org.tr. In Ankara, Istanbul, and İzmir, ballot boxes will be set up in 25, 39, and 30 districts respectively, in areas easily accessible to the public such as district party headquarters, municipal social facilities, marketplaces, coffeehouses, wedding halls, and sports halls.

'I INVITE TURKEY TO THE SOLIDARITY BOXES'
Following the detention of IMM Mayor İmamoğlu, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel addressed citizens in Saraçhane, stating, 'On Sunday, March 23, there will be a solidarity box alongside our ballot box. Everyone from all political parties, from every viewpoint, but who stands for democracy, is invited to vote in that box. We invite everyone who believes in the Republic, in democracy, in the ballot box, and who needs democracy to the solidarity box on March 23. I invite all of Turkey to be at the solidarity boxes,' he said.
