Deadly accident in Hatay: Car loses control and hits pedestrians on the sidewalk!

Three people lost their lives and three others were injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the İskenderun district of Hatay.

The driver of a Honda-brand car with license plate 38 RS 018, traveling on Professor Muammer Aksoy Street, lost steering control for a reason yet to be determined. The vehicle, which went out of control, first struck four pedestrians walking on the sidewalk, then flipped over and landed upside down.

Upon notification by witnesses, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area. Initial examinations determined that three people had lost their lives at the scene, while three others were injured. While the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances, the bodies of those who lost their lives were taken to the morgue.

It was learned that the teams conducting investigations at the scene intervened with the debris scattered around following the accident. It was reported that the treatment of the injured who were taken to the hospital is ongoing.

Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
