Deadly crash on the Ankara-Niğde Highway! 4 dead, 1 seriously injured

Four people lost their lives and one person was seriously injured in a traffic accident caused by a collision between two vehicles on the Ankara-Niğde Highway.

The accident occurred at the 59th kilometer of the highway. The car with license plate 06 BIM 593, driven by K.T. and traveling in the wrong direction, collided head-on with the vehicle with license plate 39 AJ 013, driven by E.A.

Following the accident, medical teams, as well as gendarmerie, fire department, and highway personnel, were dispatched to the scene.

Examinations conducted by medical teams determined that the two drivers involved in the accident, K.T. and E.A., as well as two passengers in the vehicle with license plate 39 AJ 013, had lost their lives at the scene.

One person who was seriously injured in the accident was transported to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial intervention.

The bodies of the four people who lost their lives were removed from the vehicles following work at the scene and taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

Traffic flow, which was provided from a single lane in the direction of Ankara for a while due to the accident, returned to normal once the vehicles were removed.
