In an unusual incident at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the pilot of a landing aircraft spotted a duck wandering on the runway. Upon the pilot's immediate report to air traffic control, teams were dispatched to the scene.
During the checks conducted on the runway, an aircraft waiting in line for landing was placed on hold. After the inspection revealed no further issues, flight traffic returned to normal and landings continued without incident. The event was also captured in radio communications.
