Pepper spray decision from the Eskişehir Governor's Office
It has been announced that it is prohibited for individuals who have not received training and do not hold a certificate to possess pepper spray in Eskişehir.

The decision was announced on the official social media account of the Eskişehir Police Department. The statement regarding the matter included the following: "With the approval of the Eskişehir Governor's Office numbered 2025/24, due to the fact that gas sprays (pepper spray) may have negative effects on individuals with health issues and that making them available for use by untrained individuals may pose a risk to general security and public order, it is prohibited for all persons and organizations, except for the Turkish Armed Forces, the Police Organization, and the Private Security Organization (who have received training and hold a certificate), to possess, carry, or use pepper spray."
