A gas tank exploded at a carpet factory named Behram Carpet, which operates in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone located in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep. A total of 7 people were injured in the fire that broke out after the explosion.

The incident began with a sudden explosion in the factory's gas tank on 83212th Street. The sound of the violent explosion was heard even in surrounding districts, causing great panic among employees. Numerous fire, medical, and security teams were dispatched to the scene.

Of the 7 people injured during the fire, 5 were taken to the hospital by ambulances that arrived at the scene and were placed under treatment. The other 2 people were treated on-site in ambulances.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighting teams, a larger disaster was prevented. The teams are currently continuing cooling efforts.

An investigation into the incident has been launched by the authorities.
