A 'fee' will be charged for trying on wedding dresses
The Ankara Chamber of Tailors and Confectioners has decided that trying on wedding dresses will now be subject to a fee. Accordingly, a charge will be applied for wedding dresses tried on during fittings. If the wedding dress for which a trial fee was paid is purchased, that amount will be deducted from the price.
With the arrival of summer, the wedding season has opened, leading to an increase in the number of people trying on wedding dresses. However, it is not only those getting married who are trying them on, but also those who are simply curious to see themselves in a wedding dress. For this reason, trying on a wedding dress will now be subject to a fee.
Muhittin Köksal, President of the Ankara Chamber of Tailors and Confectioners, announced that a fee will be charged for wedding dress fittings.
IF PURCHASED, IT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE PRICE
According to the report on NTV, while some shopkeepers believe the practice is correct, others express concern that it will lead to a loss of customers. In the event that the wedding dress for which a trial fee was paid is purchased, that money will be deducted from the price.
