Femicide in Istanbul: Shot in the head and killed
A woman who was shot in the head with a firearm in Ümraniye has lost her life; 1 suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
According to the information obtained, a young woman, whose identity could not be determined, was found shot in the head with a firearm on 3125th Street in the Finanskent neighborhood.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Checks performed by the medical teams determined that the woman had lost her life.
The woman's body was transported to the Council of Forensic Medicine following the work of the Crime Scene Investigation teams.
It was learned that 1 suspect who fled the scene has surrendered to police teams.
