Fire at a rubber factory in Tuzla
A fire that broke out at a rubber factory in Tuzla Tepeören grew rapidly. Black smoke covering the sky was visible from kilometers away.
Flames began to rise at a rubber factory located in the Tepeören neighborhood of Tuzla in the morning hours. The fire, which started around 07:30, spread quickly, leaving the facility covered in thick smoke. The dark-colored smoke rising into the sky was noticed by citizens in the region from kilometers away.
Upon notification, numerous fire crews from surrounding districts were dispatched to the factory. The teams that reached the scene intervened in the rapidly growing flames and brought the fire under control as a result of intensive efforts. The rising black smoke was also captured from the air.
While security measures were taken around the factory, cooling efforts by the teams are ongoing.
