Footage of the 30 million dollar robbery in Bakırköy has emerged!
Security camera footage of the robbery has emerged in the investigation into the alleged theft of 30 million dollars from two cars in a residential complex parking lot in Bakırköy, Istanbul.
New information has been reached in the investigation launched over the claim that 30 million dollars were stolen from the trunks of two cars in the parking lot of a residential complex in Bakırköy. It was learned that the stolen money belonged to Bilal Durmaz, the son of Atilla Durmaz, the owner of the business named Taç Döviz, who was mentioned as a "custodian" in the corruption indictment concerning the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).
It is alleged that Bilal Durmaz kept the 30 million dollars, consisting of 100-dollar bills, in the trunks of two cars parked in the complex's parking lot for about a month under the pretext of moving his business.
In the security camera footage related to the incident, it is seen that four suspects, who entered the complex on the evening of February 11 in a vehicle with fake license plates, broke the windows of the two cars in about 15 minutes. It was determined that the suspects loaded the money found in the trunks into the vehicle they arrived in and fled the scene.
It was learned that efforts are ongoing within the scope of the investigation to identify the suspects and track the money.
