The publication of Kütahyalı's interview on the channel's YouTube account sparked a major backlash from channel employees. While the figures at the center of the reaction stated that the broadcasting policy was being questioned, a significant decision to leave came as the crisis grew.

The tension experienced at Halk TV was not limited to the broadcast alone. The channel's owner, Cafer Mahiroğlu, wanted to appear on a broadcast on his own channel to make a statement regarding the ongoing process. However, this request from Mahiroğlu was rejected by the Kayda Geçsin team.

As the crisis escalated, key figures of the Kayda Geçsin program, Şule Aydın, Murat Ağırel, Barış Pehlivan, Barış Terkoğlu, and Timur Soykan, announced that they were leaving the channel. The team did not allow Mahiroğlu's statement and officially parted ways with Halk TV.

YouTube phenomenon and content creator Oğuzhan Uğur shared a photo on his personal account, tagging Şule Aydın, Murat Ağırel, Barış Pehlivan, Barış Terkoğlu, and Timur Soykan. Uğur captioned the photo, "The Kayda Geçsin team is coming to YouTube."
