Haliç Bridge to be closed to traffic
As part of asphalt renewal work to be carried out by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) on the metrobus route, the Kadıköy-bound direction of the middle bridge at Haliç will be closed to traffic starting at 23:00 on July 3.
According to the statement made by the İBB, asphalt renewal work will be carried out on the Haliç Bridge metrobus route by teams from the Department of Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination.
The work, which aims to replace the worn-out asphalt that is affecting driving comfort in some areas, is scheduled to begin at 23:00 on July 3 and is planned to be completed by 05:00 on July 8.
METROBUS ASPHALT IS BEING RENEWED
On the first day of the work, the asphalt on the metrobus route will be removed, and once the process is complete, new, high-durability asphalt will be laid on the road.
Traffic flow will be managed using the necessary warning and traffic signs in accordance with the decision of the Transportation and Traffic Commission (UTK).
During the work, the Kadıköy-bound direction of the D-100 highway Haliç middle bridge will be closed to traffic. While traffic circulation in the area is planned to be provided via the side road, the Beylikdüzü direction will not be affected by the work.
