Bulut Çağlar, a diabetic patient living in Muğla, visited a clinic in Bodrum to have the wounds on his foot treated.

Following examinations, it was decided that Çağlar would undergo leech therapy on his foot.

WOUNDS GREW, DOCTORS SAID HIS LEG MUST BE AMPUTATED

According to a report by Ekol TV, the wounds on Çağlar's foot grew progressively worse as a result of the incorrect treatment. After the wounds reached a critical state, Çağlar returned to the hospital, where doctors told him that his leg would need to be amputated.

Çağlar was in shock when he learned that he had received incorrect treatment at the clinic he visited for leech therapy.
