Individual using fake identity apprehended in Aydın
A suspect with a finalized prison sentence of 10 years and 7 months, who had been sought for over 1.5 years, was apprehended by gendarmerie teams in the Kuşadası district of Aydın.
A suspect who had committed the crimes of providing a place or opportunity for illegal betting, threats, fraud, and drug trafficking, and who had a 10-year and 7-month prison sentence, was apprehended by JASAT and Gendarmerie Intelligence teams.

Gendarmerie teams, who had been conducting physical surveillance for a long time, had been tracking the suspect, identified as A.A. When the teams stopped the suspect and asked for identification, they were presented with an Iraqi driver's license. Following the suspect's suspicious behavior, the gendarmerie teams conducted a detailed investigation and learned that the individual was of Turkish, not Arab, descent.

During the interrogation, it was determined that the suspect had a total of 10 years and 7 months of finalized prison sentences for 4 separate crimes. The suspect was referred to the court, arrested, and sent to prison. It was also learned that separate proceedings were initiated against the suspect for the crime of forgery of official documents.
