Lottery dates announced for 7 provinces in 500,000 social housing project

The Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) continues to conduct lottery draws as part of its 500,000 social housing project. Over the course of the process, which has been ongoing for approximately six weeks, the beneficiaries of over 177,000 homes have been determined in the presence of a notary across 50 provinces.

The lottery draws began on December 29, and during this period, mass draws were held in many provinces from Adıyaman to Zonguldak. Most recently, draws were held for 1,736 homes in Kırıkkale and 1,805 homes in Yalova.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum shared his assessment of the project on his social media account. In his statement, Kurum included the following remarks:

"Just as we completed and delivered 455,000 homes, we are now making our citizens homeowners with 500,000 residences. The schedule for the Housing Project of the Century is proceeding like clockwork. The draws in our 50 provinces are complete. So far, we have determined the beneficiaries for 177,000 homes. This week, we will share the excitement of the lottery in 7 more of our cities. As soon as the lottery draws are finished, we will lay the foundations and begin delivering our homes starting from March 2027."

LOTTERY TO BE HELD FOR 25,985 HOMES IN THE NEW WEEK

According to the schedule announced by the Ministry, in the new week, lottery draws will be held for 2,858 homes in Yozgat and 3,592 homes in Kütahya. On Tuesday, February 10, beneficiaries will be determined in the presence of a notary for 1,419 homes in Bilecik; on Wednesday, February 11, for 1,753 homes in Çankırı; on Thursday, February 12, for 1,950 homes in Bolu; and on Friday, February 13, for 6,865 social homes in Tekirdağ and 7,548 in Balıkesir.

In this stage, a total of 25,985 more people will be entitled to purchase homes. With the completion of the weekly draws, the number of provinces where draws have been held will reach 57, and the number of homes for which beneficiaries have been determined will reach 203,111.

As part of the project, lottery draws have been held to date in many provinces, primarily Adıyaman, Şırnak, Van, Trabzon, Samsun, and Erzurum. Officials stated that the process will continue in accordance with the announced schedule.

Following the foundation-laying work for the beneficiaries, the delivery of the homes is planned to begin as of March 2027.
