A monkey that escaped from a house in Çorum attacked a 19-year-old girl.
A young woman who was injured after being bitten on the knee by a monkey in Çorum was taken to the hospital.
The monkey, which had escaped from a house on Buharaevler 3rd Street in the Buharaevler neighborhood, attacked 19-year-old Buse E.S. as she was walking down the street on her way to work.
Upon notification, health personnel and teams from the Çorum Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate were dispatched to the street.

Buse E.S., who was injured after the monkey bit her knee, was taken by ambulance to the Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital.
The young woman, whose wound was dressed there, was discharged following her treatment.
An operation has been launched by the Veterinary Affairs Directorate teams to capture the monkey, which fled the area.
