Murat Kurum announces number of applications for social housing project

Applications continue for the 500,000 social housing project, which will be implemented by TOKİ in 81 provinces, as announced to the public by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Applications made via e-Government will conclude on December 18, while applications made through bank branches will conclude on December 19.

KURUM ANNOUNCES NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS

Evaluating the application process, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum drew attention to the intensity experienced during the process that began on November 10. Speaking on a live broadcast on A Haber, Kurum used the following expressions:

“The 500,000 social housing project has received great interest. There have been 2 million 879 thousand valid applications, meaning approximately 3 million applications. We will make our first deliveries to the earthquake zone. We estimate that we will make deliveries in 2026.”

15 THOUSAND RENTAL HOUSES FOR ISTANBUL

While providing information regarding the work carried out across Istanbul, Minister Kurum said that a total of 100,000 houses are being built. Kurum also added, “In addition to this, we will bring 15 thousand rental houses to the city.”
