Number of stray dogs collected in Ankara announced
Ankara Governor Yakup Canbolat announced that all stray animals identified in the city in 2024 have been collected. Canbolat stated that search, screening, and collection efforts will continue for any animals that remain unregistered.
Ankara Governor Yakup Canbolat made a statement regarding the efforts carried out to collect stray animals in the city.
Sharing on his social media account, Canbolat announced that all stray animals identified across Ankara in 2024 have been collected.
In his post, Canbolat stated, "My dear fellow citizens of Ankara, as of today, we have reached the figure of 52,000 in the efforts to collect the 52,000 stray animals identified in our province of Ankara in 2024. If there are any that remain unidentified, search/screening and collection efforts will continue meticulously."
