Extensive security measures have been taken in Istanbul due to a ceremony rehearsal organized as part of the 102nd anniversary celebrations of Republic Day. As of 06:00 in the morning, police teams have been directing traffic flow in a controlled manner along routes determined by the Istanbul Governor's Office.

CLOSED STREETS AND ROADS

During the rehearsal, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) has been closed to traffic in both directions. In addition, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from the north and south directions of the D-100 highway, as well as Edirnekapı, 10. Yıl, Oğuzhan, Sofular, Halıcılar, Akdeniz, Akşemsettin, and Ordu streets, along with Atatürk Boulevard, Keçeci Meydan Street, and the south direction of the Hal Road, will be closed to vehicle passage.

Access to the boulevard will not be possible from all streets and avenues leading to Adnan Menderes Boulevard, as well as from Tatlı Pınar, Kaleboyu, and Sulukule streets.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

During the closure, which is expected to last until the rehearsals are completed, drivers will be able to use alternative routes such as Turgut Özal Millet Street, Fevzipaşa Street, Atatürk Boulevard, the D-100 highway, and the O-3 Hal Road.
