Over 1.5 tons of drug raw materials seized in İzmir!
In an operation conducted by gendarmerie teams in İzmir, 1 ton 625 kilograms of raw material for synthetic drugs were seized. Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2 suspects were apprehended as a result of the operation.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared details regarding the drug operation conducted by the İzmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
Stating that 1 ton 625 kilograms of raw material for synthetic drugs were seized as a result of the operation, Yerlikaya announced that 5.5 million synthetic pills could have been produced with this raw material.
Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2 people were apprehended in the operation, 1 drug production facility was uncovered, and 6 pill-pressing machines were seized.
