The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) made notable statements regarding paid military service during its weekly press briefing. The statement indicated that the fee and additional fee amounts determined under the Recruitment Law No. 7179 will be updated as of July 1, 2025, based on the civil servant salary coefficient.

The statement also included an important warning for those liable for military service who wish to avoid being affected by the fee increase. Accordingly, those who wish to process their applications at the current rate must complete their application and payment procedures by June 30, 2025.
