A car driver who stabbed and injured a doctor during an argument over right-of-way at a pedestrian crossing in Adana has been arrested.
In the central Seyhan district, on Toros Street in the Cemalpaşa neighborhood, an argument broke out between Burak Y., who was trying to cross the road using a pedestrian crossing at a traffic light, and car driver Eray K. over a right-of-way issue.
During the argument, in which the parties could not reach an agreement while asserting that they had the right of way, Eray K. wounded Burak Y. in the arm with a knife he had with him and fled the scene.
Burak Y., who was learned to be a doctor working at Kozan State Hospital, was taken by ambulance to the Çukurova University (ÇÜ) Faculty of Medicine Balcalı Hospital.
It was reported that Burak Y.'s general health condition is good.
