Ramadan Feast traffic toll: 47 lives lost, 5,743 injured
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya has announced the results of traffic accidents that occurred during the first five days of the Ramadan Feast holiday. According to the data, 13 more people lost their lives on the 5th day of the holiday, bringing the total death toll to 47.
The traffic density experienced during the Ramadan Feast holiday has brought many accidents along with it. Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that on April 2, the 5th day of the holiday, 583 traffic accidents occurred, in which 13 people lost their lives and 959 people were injured.
He stated that since the beginning of the holiday, a total of 47 people have lost their lives in traffic accidents, and 5,743 people have been injured.
