Search for missing middle school student Burak Koçak enters 4th day
Search efforts for 14-year-old middle school student Burak Koçak, who went missing four days ago in the Orhaneli district of Bursa, are continuing without interruption. There has been no word from the 8th-grade student since the morning of June 5.

After Burak left home in the morning to go to school but did not board the school bus, and failed to return home in the evening, his family reported the situation to the gendarmerie. During the search operations that were launched, Burak's school bag was found in a shed in the garden of Altıntaş Primary School.
40-SQUARE-KILOMETER AREA BEING SEARCHED
Search and rescue teams are conducting operations in an area of approximately 40 square kilometers to find Burak. Approximately 130 personnel from AFAD, JAK, UMKE, the gendarmerie, the marine police, AKUT, IHH, and various non-governmental organizations are participating in the search.
The operations are also supported by 4 drones, 4 tracking dogs, and 6 police divers for underwater searches. Teams are meticulously scanning both forested areas and creek beds.
HE WAS A QUIET CHILD
It has been learned that Burak, a student at Hacı Mustafa Öden Imam Hatip Middle School, was known by those around him as a quiet and introverted person.
The family and authorities stated that operations in the region have been intensified to find the young boy safe and sound. While no trace of Burak Koçak has been found so far, it was learned that search activities will continue uninterrupted throughout the holiday.
